Patrick was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee but molded by the Pacific Northwest. In his youth he was inspired to pick up photography by his grandmother who was a wedding photographer and grandfather who was a photographer during the Vietnam war. At fifteen he saved up enough money from mowing lawns and bought his first film camera to capture the beautiful green landscapes of Tennessee and he has been a shutter bug ever since. Growing up in the foothills of the Appalachia sparked his love for the outdoors and a life driven by wanderlust. When he was nineteen he chose a life on wheels living out of a mini-van he named Cleopatra driving across North America to climb with a camera in hand. After a few years of documenting friends and beautiful landscapes he landed in the Washington State and started to plant roots in Seattle. Now, Patrick works as a commercial and wedding photographer creating that same dreamy sense of wonder he felt when first moving to Washington through his images. If he isn’t working you’ll most likely find him hanging out with his wife and dog at the crag or at the beach if there’s good swell!
